Things to consider when purchasing a gun safe:

Proactively protecting and maintaining your guns should be a top priority as an owner. Buying a safe is an important step in ensuring that not only the quality and gun itself is maintained in pristine condition but also to keep intruders from gaining access. While it may seem simple to choose a safe that is perfect for you, there are a few things that Rolland recommends that you think about when browsing through multiple safes.

The best way to be prepared is to think about the size, fire protection, price, and warranty/ reliability.

Size

Although there might be a certain size you think you will need, we suggest that you look into getting a bigger size. The reason we recommend to size up is in case your collection grows, or you decide to keep other important valuables in your safe. If you do decide to grow your collection you will have the extra room and buying the bigger safe size will end up saving you time and money.

It is also very helpful to know the dimensions for the area where you intend to place your safe. Having the dimensions of the space will allow us to help you maximize the storage capacity.

Fire Protection

Gun safes are a very big investment and for that reason, we highly recommend looking into a safe that has been tested for fire protection. At Rolland, our gun safes are tested at our laboratory for 30 minutes at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Warranty

One of the most important aspects to think about when deciding on a safe is the warranty. While many times incidents are inevitable, a warranty can protect your safe and safeguard your investment.

Price

There are various price points that can be provided for gun safe but as we have mentioned above, it is important to consider the investment you are making and purchase a product that will be long-lasting, secure and have the capacity you are looking for.
